Romania - Iasi (01-05.11.2023) 5 days - by plane from Podgorica

Iasi is the most important economic and cultural center in the region of Moldavia (eastern Romania) as well as one of the oldest cities in Romania. Located in the northeastern part of the country, Iaşi was for centuries the crossroads of the most important trade routes connecting Poland, Hungary, Russia and Constantinople.Tokom proteklih 600 godina, istorija, kultura i verski život oblikovali su jedinstven karakter grada. Jaši se može pohvaliti impresivnim brojem pravoslavnih crkava, preko 100, od kojih se mnoge nalaze u njegovom centralnom delu zvanom Zlatni plato (Platoul de Aur). Najstarija, kneževska crkva Svetog Nikole, datira iz vremena najvećih vladara u regionu, kneza Stefana Velikog (Štefan cel Mare) koji je vladao od 1457. do 1504. godine. Najspektakularnije crkve su, međutim, mitropolitska katedrala Svete Paraskeve iz 17. veka ( Catedrala Mitropolitana Sfanta Parascheva) i Crkva Tri Sveta Jerarha (Biserica Trei Ierarhi), obe veoma lepi primeri vizantijske umetnosti. Zamršeno izrezbareni spoljni zidovi Crkve Tri Jerarha teraju mnoge posetioce da pomisle na kamenu čipku.

Day 1

Wednesday (01.11.): Gathering of the group at Podgorica airport 2 hours before the flight. Departure for Jaši at 7:00 am. Landing in Iasi at 15:20. After landing and luggage collection, transfer from the airport to the hotel. After accommodation in the hotel and a short rest, a planned walk through the city center to get to know the city accompanied by a local guide. We visit the Cathedral Church of St. Petke, which is located in the city center. Free time Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 2

Thursday (02.11.): Breakfast. The Cathedral Church of Jaš, where the relics of St. Petka are located - Tour of the Monastery of the Holy Three Hierarchs - Founded in the first half of the 17th century, the relics of St. Petka originally rested in this temple. Today there is a vestment of the Venerable and part of the relics of Saint Basil the Great. The external treatment of the church walls is famous - the outside of the church is completely covered with carved stone embroidery. Then the church of Saint Spyridon the Miracle Worker - The church is located in the hospital grounds and keeps the Miracle Icon of Saint Spyridon the Miracle Worker. Church of St. Nicholas - the oldest church in the city from the 15th century. Church of Saint Nektarios the Miracle Worker of Aegina. Church of St. Sava the Saint's Church preserves part of the relics of the Holy Great Martyr Tryfun and the Holy Great Martyr Marina. Free time . Overnight stay.

Day 4

Saturday (04.11.): Breakfast. Free day . More Romanian traditions...dinner with folk music.

Day 5

Sunday (05.11.): Breakfast.

After breakfast check out from the hotel. Free time until departure to the airport. Departure from the hotel to the airport at 13:00. Flight to Podgorica via Vienna at 4:05 p.m. landing at Podgorica Airport at 11:30 p.m. local time. End of program.

The organizer of the trip is Pellegrino TA, license number 373. This program is subject to Pellegrino TA's General Travel Conditions. Please read the General Travel Conditions carefully. The reservation is valid only if a payment of 50% of the total amount of the arrangement has been made. The minimum for the implementation of the program is 15 registered passengers. In case of a smaller number of registered agencies, the agency reserves the right to change the price with the consent of the registered passengers. The signatory of the travel contract or the representatives of the group of travelers are obliged to familiarize all travelers with the contracted travel program, terms of payment, insurance and the general terms and conditions of travel of the organizer (Pellegrino TA) Travelers who do not have a passport of the Republic of Montenegro are obliged to familiarize themselves with the visa regime of the country they are traveling to and to obtain a travel visa themselves. Single rooms are available on request. The arrangement is not recommended for younger children. Optional excursions are not a mandatory part of the program and depend on free dates in localities, the number of registered passengers and other circumstances. The traveler is obliged to respect the hourly rate determined by the agency representative on the trip, otherwise the agency representative has the right to exclude the traveler from the trip. The agency determines the place of departure, the place for a break and the length of it; by paying for the arrangement, the traveler accepts all of the above, without the right to complain or appeal. Smoking and the consumption of intoxicants are strictly prohibited in the means of transport. A passenger who disturbs other passengers with his inappropriate behavior or interferes with the driver, guide/companion in the business will be immediately excluded from the trip and all responsibility will be transferred to him without the right to appeal and refund.
